Te-bi island

Inspired by the dramatic geography of Taiwan, Taiwanese owners commissioned SPLINTR to create a unique dining experience merging the traditional and innovative sides of Taiwanese culture. Te-Bi Island, which translates simply as 'Tea & Rice Island', serves to bring the taiwanese street food experience to Edinburgh with its extensive range of rice roll and teas on offer. 

The design of the restaurant makes subtle references to Taiwans landscape as curves and sharp angles work harmoniously together to reflect the mountains and the sea. Various levels of seating help create a friendly and relaxed atmosphere while injections of fun and playful features make for an engaging and memorable experience.
